How long have you been in business?
SCR Systems has been in business since 1974.
What is your primary product or service?
SCR Systems is a distributor of Total Touch POS Software and Maitre'd POS Software with the All-in-one Touch terminals, printers and cash drawers.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I grew up in the business. I started in this business when I was 14 years of age. I witnessed this business migrate from mechanical NCR cash registers to electronic cash registers to feature rich computer systems that run all aspects of businesses.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Expertise and knowledge of knowing the needs of businesses and knowing the products that enhance the profits of all business, and by supplying the fastest and most efficient support services that business demands.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location and we do not plan on expanding.

Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Robert C Slifko is the President along with John A. Slifko as Vice President.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm are the physical office hours with 7 day support provided after hours for our clients by cell phone service and support.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
A Dairy Queen sold their business and we received a letter from the owner thanking us for all the past support and services and terminals that we supplied them for the past 20 years. They quoted that we would always be remembered to them as the good guys.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
Always treat people as you would like to be treated and never forget that, and never burn a bridge, you never know when it will come back to haunt you.Another quote I always liked is everything happens for a reason, even though it seems that it is the worst thing that could happen, but you find out in the future that good things come of it.
